Coronavirus disease outbreak is a global pandemic. It has affected various countries and individuals. With passing days, there has been observed a steep increase in number of infected people. The current count of infected people around the world is 11.4 million and still increasing day by day, count of people recovered is 6.16 million and total number of deaths occurred is 534 k. The current situation is extremely severe as there is no vaccine available. But scientist around the world are trying their best to come up with a vaccine for it. The outbreak of the various originated in Wuhan city of china and now it is not limited to a particular area. It has spread around the globe and has been declared as a pandemic. There is no vaccine available yet thus the best way to protect yourself and your family is to follow the guideline asked to be followed by the WHO and your government.

As it is well said “Precaution is better than cure” Because in this case there is no cure. So all we can do to fight this situation is to take all the precautionary measures.

Corona virus is considered high risk for people who are suffering from a particular disease or condition like heart, lungs, kidney, diabetes and cancer or have a very low immune system.

  1. Wash hands every time you come home from outside

  4. Cover your nose and mouth every time you sneeze or cough. Sneeze or cough in handkerchief/tissue or on the sleeve, not in palms. Dispose of tissues properly. Wash and dry handkerchiefs
  5. When you are outside home, try to wash your hand frequently.
  6. Avoid going to crowded places
  7. Step out of home only when absolutely necessary.
  8. Sanitize all the items or substances brought from outside
  9. Make sure you clean all the food items carefully before consuming.
  10. Avoid consuming ice creams and cold drinks or water.
  11. Take a hot water bath after you come from outside.
